Digital Image Project #6 - 2017 8x8 Album Title Pages (ft. LSHD)

Hi Paper Crafters,

Tonight is my last night for design team submissions for the month of April. Boy did the reminder put a fire under my bum... I have taken a few of the digital files and created a few more title pages for a grandson's 8x8 scrapbook. These are only the title pages, the facing page will have the photos (when they are sent to me), journaling and embellishments to match. Files used are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

I would love for you to share how you create digital pages. I am still quite a newbie since these are only the 6th project to post on my blog. I realize they are very basic, but honestly, my knowledge of how to do the digital images is very basic.

Zoo trip - You're Dandy Lion
Coffee - Turtle Y Craving Coffee
First snow - Penguin with Snowballs

Digital Image Project #5 - 2017 Set of 4 Cards (ft. LSHD)

Hi Paper Crafters,

I am in the process of working on getting caught up on my design team projects for Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. My focus this evening are digital files. If you have been following me for the last couple months you know this is not a strong skill of mine. I have always been a paper piecer with my files. Since I have begun using the digital files, I see the draw to them for their ease of use and the fast creation of projects.

My project is a digital set of cards using the : #1507 Sending My Love Combo Kit, Loads of Love (older freebie), #1501 Love You to the Moon, Mud Splashes (older freebie). Card bases are from my stash, Hot of the Press.

I will be keeping these cards on hand for any upcoming needs and use my CTMH stamps to add a sentiment.

Enjoy!

DIY - Paper Piecing on Cupboards (ft. LSHD, Mud Splashes)

Hi Paper Crafters,,

Took some time out for the family over the past 24 hours, but have returned to my craft room to complete a DIY cupboard decoration.  I used the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, Mud Splashes (a freebie a couple weeks ago) to give my white cupboard some crafty character. What better used of the white space than to use cut files much like holiday decorations. The Mud Splashes is cute and helps me to remember that the rain we are having here in Oregon will soon bring May flowers.

Enjoy!

My Craft Space (Update) - April 2017

Hi Paper Crafters,

Well, I believe I am done reorganizing. It is time to get back to work in my well thought out craft space. All things alike are now in the same area of my craft room and things are no longer stacked on top of one another. Both of which were issues leading me to this reorganization.

Links are below the video for the main storage products I used in the reorganization. Please let me know if you need any other information.

What I used...

Wal-Mart purchases

DIY - Paper Piecing on a Photo Frame (ft. LSHD, Searching Bunny)

Hi Paper Crafters,

Back to working in my craft room. There are a few finishing touches to be made in the room before I will do a final tour video. My husband has a "to do" list which consists of hanging up a cabinet and a wall mount for my TV. Then it will be left to me to finish the sorting and placing of items into the cabinet. I can hardly wait to share how things are looking and how easy it is to grab what I need.

Until then, I want to get back into making projects. Today's project features the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, Searching Bunny cut file. I have used a photo frame as my base. What a quick gift to put together and present to the hostess of your Easter celebrations tomorrow.

Supplies used are all Close To My Heart products: cardstock, exclusive inks and glue dots.

Enjoy!

My Craft Space (chaos, day 2) - April 2017

Hi Paper Crafters,

I took a few moments from my organizing to film my progress thus far. Please feel free to ask questions about any systems, products, etc. which you may see in my room. I would love to share my ideas and thoughts for why I have my room set up the way it is for now. I am always open to your ideas as well.  Together we can be successful in our dreams of being organized. Right?!

Thanks for watching. I especially want to reach out and thank all of my new subscribers.  You are all very much appreciated.

My Craft Space - April 2017

Hi Paper Crafters,

Today is not going to be a post about any new creations, it is a day of organizing. Yes, once again I am organizing in my craft space. Over the years, I have collected a mishmash of storage structures/containers, but I truly want some cohesiveness to my work space for aesthetic purposes. I want to feel calm and collected when I sit down to work. Anyone else feel my chaos frustration? It has been due in large part to having small work areas in the past, and the fact that I have adult sons who we were not sure would be moving back home or not. There is still one room available should one have to come back. :-)

I have purchased cube shelving units from Wal-Mart, the same I have in my living room which I featured back in November or December which house my completed albums. I have also purchased one for my master bedroom to store my empty/new albums which are awaiting my getting to scrapbooking my years of photos.

Stay tuned for the completed craft room photos.  Hopefully soon.

Enjoy!

12x12 Scrapbook Layout #13 - "So Sour" and "Yummy Gummy" (LSHD)

Hi Paper Crafters,

Here is a fun layout for those photos of my kids enjoying their Sour Patch Kids and Gummy Worms. I love the vibrant colors of the retired paper pack from Close To My Heart, Lollydoodle. I guess one of my new focuses for projects to come should be to use up my stash a bit more and a bit faster than I have been. Anyone with me?

The cut files are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs: Yummy Gummy and So Sour.

Page layout pattern from the Close To My Heart Imagine, Foundation How-To Publication Item #9039.

Please be sure to head over to my CTMH website for any paper crafting supplies/products you need. Also, please stop by and browse the lovely files of Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

Enjoy!
