The weekend has arrived! I was finally able to get back to my craft table to work on my paper piecing rather than just grading papers and entering lesson plans. This has been a rough few weeks getting back in to the school routine. I am hopeful it will begin to even out and the weekends will be mine to play with my paper crafts.
Tuesday will be picture day. The morning is a bit busy as each class is called to have their "mugs" taken for the new school year ID's and yearbook photos. This includes all students as well as all staff. I am the school's yearbook adviser and hope each year that everyone will make it to school on this day. If they don't, then we have to take a photo and edit in the blue background. Well, actually my son helps us do the PhotoShop work.
Since it is school picture week, I thought it appropriate to make a layout featuring the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs cut file "Picture Day." I have uploaded a video to YouTube sharing my process for how I assembled the layout.
